  वर्षा (Rain) के लिए दो बातों का होना अत्यंत आवश्यक है – वायु में पर्याप्त   जलवाष्प   का होना और ऐसे साधन का होना जिससे वाष्पयुक्त वायु ठंडी होकर घनीभूत (condensate) हो सके. आज हम वर्षा के विषय विस्तृत जानकारी (information) आपको देने वाले हैं. आज हम इस लेख में पढेंगे कि वर्षा कैसे होती है, इसके कितने प्रकार (types) हैं, इसे कैसे मापा (measure) जाता है और इसका वितरण (distribution) विश्व में कहाँ-कहाँ किस प्रकार है आदि. वाष्प से युक्त वायु निम्नलिखित प्रकार से ठंडी हो सकती है – गर्म वायु का हल्की होकर ऊपर उठना और ऊपर जाकर फ़ैल जाना. गर्म वायु का ऊँचे पर्वतों के संपर्क में आकर उनके ऊपर चढ़ना और ऊँचाई पर जाकर हिमाच्छादित भाग के संपर्क में ठंडा होना. गर्म वायु का ठन्डे अक्षांशों की ओर बढ़ना. गर्म वायु का ठंडी वायु या ठंडी जलधारा के संपर्क में आने से ठंडा हो जाना. वर्षा के प्रकार (TYPES OF RAIN) पृथ्वी पर होने वाली वर्षा मुख्य रूप से तीन प्रकार की होती है – वाहनिक (Convectional Rain) पर्वतीय वर्षा (Relief Rain) चक्रवातीय वर्षा (Cyclonic Rain) वाहनिक वर्षा वाहनिक वर्षा (Convectio...
